Very sweet lines, fits perfectly the colours.
I would only say that the character on the right seems a bit cold with the patchwork down his elbow. He feels cold to me, while the underground scene is warm.

Nice ant detail.

Back when I read/saw the Borrowers, I used to think about how I'd design my underground house. This illustration is strangely reminiscent of the feeling you'd get in my caverns. Cozy and earthy (though with maybe less trash, lol). Glad to see you doing more illustrations with backgrounds! :)
